Brian was born and raised in the great state of Alaska. He went to school in Minnesota for a couple years before moving west to join the 12th man. Brian has been a part of helping make Ekklesia happen, basically since the very beginning from setting up chairs to now bringing the word regularly. Brian loves the Lord, loves his wife, loves his job, and really loves chipotle. Life is good.

Ekklesia Interns 2017-2018

Benjamin piehler | MINISTRY INTERN

Ben grew up as a typical homeschooler in the Renton suburbs with four older brothers. Ben has been a part of the Ekklesia community for a long time and has helped lead small groups for a while too. He loves awkward conversations, unnecessary philosophical disputes, smashing his opponents in pong pong, and olive oil. He somehow managed to graduate from Western last spring, and is now primarily focussed on tuning his Instagram aesthetic.

nathan ford | ministry intern

Nathan was born at a young age in Port Orchard Washington. In a house with a father, a mother, and a twin sister (it’s not as interesting as it sounds). Eventually one thing led to another and he ended up in Bellingham at Ekklesia. Nathan enjoys music like most people enjoy Netflix. He is a pretty decent drummer as well as a pretty awful singer. His favorite movie is Stuck in Love and his favorite food is coffee. The three words that best describe Nathan’s lifestyle are eat, pray, and love.
