Our Monday post for this week is all about this guy. He’s an amazing drummer, a poet, an enneagram 4, a mariners fan, and kills the mustache game. Can we get a round of applause for NATHAN FORD!! 👏🏼 He’s been faithfully serving at Ekklesia for years and even interned with us last year! Nathan has been a huge part in getting people connected within the Ekklesia community. Next time you see him, make sure you ask to see some of his awesome dance moves, he won’t disappoint. #peopleofekk Here are two awesome ladies (and best friends) that both call Ekklesia home. Courtney or better known as Sport Court (right) moved from Alaska just a few years ago and found not only belonging and a community group by attending Thursday night gatherings, but it opened the door to her realizing ministry was where God was calling her. Kristen or better known as KZ (left), a Lynden native, has found lifelong friends that not only love her a whole lot, but also push her towards Jesus. She realized having this space every week was something she never knew she needed and is so thankful for it. They both look forward to Thursday nights to spend time with community and to find rest. Ashley, aka A-Rans, was a committed volunteer with Ekklesia for almost 5 years... until she finally joined our staff team in September. You can catch her on stage, leading us in worship with her angelic voice, or in the back of Norway Hall being a bo$$ at administrative tasks. A few of her favorite things include Justin Timberlake, Disneyland, and Harry Potter. Ashley is mega-creative and has a secret talent for interior decorating and drawing. She is the glue that holds our team together and everyone who meets her feels known and loved instantly. Jordan grew up in and out of the church never fully experiencing God for herself. After attending Ekklesia and going through The Intensive last year, she was able to start understanding a real, authentic relationship with Jesus. Both provided her the space to navigate uncertainties and help answer questions in her faith. A few other known facts about Jordan; she's been a bomb hairdresser for 3 years, hiccups in times of stress, and an introvert that thrives in deep conversations. Jordan is awesome and you should definitely get to know her! #peopleofekk
